About us
My name is Elona, and for me, yoga is a love for life and for myself. When I practice yoga, I practice continuity, self-discovery, and being fully present in the moment.
For the past 10 years, I have been deeply immersed in different styles of yoga and have continued to develop my knowledge and practice both in Estonia and abroad. My yoga journey reached an important milestone in 2019, when I completed my Hatha Yoga teacher training at the renowned Samatva Yogalaya Ashram in India.
I have continued to deepen my knowledge through various trainings in Europe, including Scott Johnson (20h), Mayra Surya (25h), and Children’s Yoga School (400h), as well as in India, including Tattvaashram Yogshala Varkala (20h), Samatva Yogalaya Ashram, Rishikesh (200h), and Yogadarshanam, Mysore (300h). In addition to yoga, I completed Pilates training at Visible Feels Academy, as I believe that yoga and Pilates complement each other beautifully.
I am currently expanding my knowledge in the field of yoga therapy through further training. I particularly enjoy working with small groups and creating personalized approaches that take into account the individual needs, preferences, and goals of each participant.
One of my more recent areas of interest is incorporating Ayurveda into my daily life and teaching. I find that it naturally supports my yoga practice and helps me maintain balance and overall well-being.
I have also organized children’s camps and retreats and explored exciting practices such as SUP board yoga, aerial yoga, and yoga therapy.
I value versatility and learning different styles, as they help us discover ourselves and develop a deeper awareness of our bodies. At the same time, I also enjoy dedicating myself deeply to one particular style, as this allows us to become more present, grounded, and focused.
I believe that every person has their own unique journey with yoga. Regardless of the style, I believe consistency and mindful practice are what truly matter, because the way we practice on the mat is also reflected in our daily lives. When we learn to be fully present, we become more aware, more connected to ourselves, and better able to appreciate the moment. I believe this can enrich our lives and bring greater joy and well-being.
Beyond yoga, I enjoy learning about the traditions, religions, and cultures of different countries. This interest led me to study International Relations at Queen Mary University of London, and I continue to be fascinated by cultural diplomacy.
I believe that embracing and respecting diversity enriches our lives and contributes to creating a healthier and more connected society.
